May 1944. The Second World War is raging in the world, and one of the biggest Soviet crimes - the deportation of the Crimean Tatars - is about to take place in Crimea. In the early hours of May 18, thousands of people were forced to leave their homes by force. In our virtual museum, we published an article on this anniversary "When we left Crimea, everyone sang and cried." 80 years ago, the deportations of the Crimean Tatars began.
