Within the Gulag Online Museum you can now see an interactive map of the Gulag camp administration, which was created on the basis of the database Система исправительно-трудовых лагерей в СССР (Sistěma ispravitěl lageries in the USSR). This was created from archive materials by our colleagues from the Moscow organization International Memorial. All information on the individual camp administrations was taken from this database. We also added stories of witnesses from Poland, Hungary and Slovakia to the portal. The extension of the portal was made possible by the project of the Visegrad Fund.
